An unidentified Ohio preschool teacher has been fired after her colleague snapped a photo of her dragging an African-American boy down a hallway.
According to WKBN, the teacher was an employee with Alta Head Start, a program that works with Youngstown City Schools to serve students up to 5 years of age.
Almost moments after the school's administrators saw the picture of her dragging the student down the hallway, they immediately fired her.  Joseph Shorokey, the CEO Of Alta Head Start even said the teacher’s behavior was "inexcusable."
“These fine teachers and aides should not be unfairly portrayed as anything less because of the person who was terminated,” Shorokey said.
Shorokey has since issued an apology to the family and the community affected.
You know what they say: just because you found one bad apple doesn't mean you should give up the whole tree. But still...this makes us worry about the safety of our children. If we can't trust our educators, who can we trust?
