கல்லெறிந்த நபர்களில் பலரும் கைது செய்யப்பட்டனர். அதன் பின் ஆக்கிரமிப்புகளை நீக்கிவருகிறது டில்லி காவல்துறை. ஆக்கிரமிப்பு ஒரு மசூதியைச் சுற்றி இருந்ததால் தான் பிரச்சினையே. ஆக்கிரமிப்பு செய்தவர்கள் முஹம்மதிய மத நபர்கள். அவர்கள் தான் கல்லெறிந்து காவல்துறையினரை காயப் படுத்தினர். இதை சமாஜ்வாதி கட்சியின் முஹம்மதிய     தலைவன் ஒருவன் தூண்டி விட்ட ஆதாரங்களும் வெளியாகியிருக்கின்றன.

கல்லெறிந்தும் காவல்துறையினர் விடாததால், இப்போது வேறு ஒரு புரளியைக் கிளப்பியிருக்கிறது முஹம்மதிய மத  கூட்டம், "எங்கள் மசூதியை இடித்து விட்டார்கள்" என்று. உடனே பாகிஸ்டான் உள்ளிட்ட முஹம்மதிய மத  நாடுகள் கண்டனம் தெரிவித்து வரும் வேளையில்... டில்லி காவல் துறை டுரோன் வீடியோக்களை வெளியிட்டிருக்கிறது, "இடிக்குமுன் என்ன நிலை? இடித்த பின் நிலை என்ன?" என்று.  
 
தெளிவாகத் தெரிகிறது மசூதிக்கு ஒன்றும் ஆகவில்லை என்று. அதோடு, மசூதியைச் சுற்றி ஏக்கர் கணக்கில் மர்ம கூட்டம் ஆக்கிரமித்து கடைகளைப் போட்டிருந்ததும் தெரிகிறது.

எப்படியாவது ஒரு கலவரத்தை உண்டு பண்ண வேண்டும் என்று பார்க்கிறது முஹம்மதிய மத கூட்டமும் எதிர்க்கட்சிகளும்....

A demolition drive by the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) around the Faiz-e-Ilahi Mosque in Turkman Gate turned violent, with locals allegedly pelting stones at police and administration leaving police to resort to mild tear gas to disperse the crowd.

As per the case details, around 1 am, 30 bulldozers arrived at the site, amidst heavy security deployment, and locals allegedly pelted stones at the forces. A total of five policemen, including the SHO, were injured. They were later taken to a hospital from where they are discharged after treatment. Five people were detained from the spot while others later as per identification, police added.

The Delhi police stated that the demolition drive near Faiz-e-Elahi Masjid was carried out by the MCD in compliance with the Delhi High Court’s directions. 

The FIR has been registered under Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) sections 221 (obstructing public servant in discharge of public functions), 132 (assault or criminal force to deter public servant from discharge of his duty), 121 (voluntarily causing hurt to deter public servant from his duty), 191 (rioting), 223 (A) (disobedience to order duly promulgated by public servant) and 3(5) (joint liability) and provisions of Prevention of Damage to Public Property Act, 1984.

The Delhi High Court refused any interim stay on the action on January 6. The mosque, which its managing committee claimed is “more than 100 years old”, is a Waqf property and remained untouched. The demolition action was reportedly carried out on structures including a baraat ghar and a dispensary surrounding a 0.195-acre land tract, housing a dargah and the mosque.

The managing committee had moved a petition before the HC after the MCD on January 1 made markings for the planned demolition, and had informed the committee that the demolition will take place on January 7.

The committee, in its petition, had sought that an MCD order dated December 22 last year be set aside where the civic body had ruled that any structure beyond a 0.195 acre tract is an encroachment and misuse of public land. The committee submitted before the Delhi HC that it has no objection to the removal of encroachments and is only seeking the court’s intervention to protect the graveyard adjoining the mosque, which according to it, is beyond the 0.195-acre limit.

In its December 22 order, the MCD had stated that “by no stretch of imagination, masjid or dargah or graveyard can be used as a marriage venue or clinic”, adding that this is a “blatant misuse of public land”. “In view of above, any structure beyond 0.195 acre of land is an encroachment and deserves to be removed,” the civic body had ruled.
