Bangladesh’s minorities are shrinking—and suffering.

From 1951 to 2022, Hindus fell from 22% to under 8%, Buddhists and Christians remain below 1%. Behind these numbers lies persecution: mob lynchings, blasphemy-linked attacks, temple vandalism, sexual violence, and forced displacement.

Reports show 174 attacks in just five months, dozens killed, temples destroyed, and families uprooted.

These communities embody resilience, but their survival is under threat.
