1. Islamic State recruiter Tarique Ahmed from Nowgam Kashmir was caught staying at Panchajanyam, the official rest house run by the Guruvayur Devaswom Board right next to the sacred Sri Krishna Temple.
2. How did an Islamic terrorist get to stay in a temple-run hotel in one of Hinduism's holiest towns - the Dwarka of the South? While devotees queue for darshan, terror recruiters operate freely from inside the system.
3. Here's the deal. Non-Hindus are prohibited from entering the Guruvayur Temple, and this applies to the management run accommodations like Panchajanyam, Kousthubham and Sreevalsam. There is a sign right outside the temple in English, Malayalam and Tamil: "Entry of Non Hindus in the Temple is Strictly Prohibited." So who approved Ahmed's stay?
4. Guruvayur must be a fortress of dharma, not a safehouse for those who want to destroy it. The Centre should issue a Presidential Ordinance to liberate all temples in India from the clutches of the state. It's dereliction of duty to allow grubby seculars and Marxists to run Hindu temples.
