A new video and images surfaced on social media and shows female militants in Syria firing machine guns and practicing terror drills.
Although fully veiled, the women are said to be affiliated with Islamic State (IS).
The women are shown in the images and videos as shouting radical statements and IS slogans as they attempt to us their AK 47 rifles.

The women in the pictures appear to be struggling with the weight of the machine guns and make a number of basic rifle mistakes.
Many of them women also seemed surprised by the powerful recoil of rifle, taking just a couple of shots before returning to the group. Many of them also appeared to carelessly place the rifle butt on the ground while others are pictured as leaning on their weapons.

The video was identified to have been taken at the St Simeon’s Church, around 60km from the Syrian city of Aleppo.

The video and pictures further show the women waving their machine guns in the air while others point their fingers towards the sky. Some are even seen to carrying their handbags on their shoulder as they carefully navigate on the road.

The women are pictured wearing what appeared to be white sports shoes and sandals.
The women were recorded as chanting religious slogans in Arabic and praising the IS. They also reportedly reaffirmed their affiliation to the organisation.

According to the International Centre for the Study of Radicalisation (ICSR) at King’s College London, a group of at least 30 female British female nationals have been identified as being based in northern Syria.

Most of the British female members of IS live in the Syrian town of Manbij in Aleppo province or the IS de-facto capital city of Raqqa.
