Looking at this peaceful animal sanctuary you would never think that something as gruesome as a cow's severed head was dumped on the property just hours ago.
Sankir Sastri says,"This hateful act is a big surprise to us and a shock."
Sastri owns this cow sanctuary. He says in his Hindu faith, cows are considered sacred and a symbol of life and may never be killed.
,"We consider these cows our pets" He added "I don't know why they would do such a horrible act like that."
Sastri moved to Jackson Township a month ago, but he's been raising cows in North East Pennsylvania for 17 years and nothing like this has ever happened before.

Sanctuary volunteer Katherine Davis say it was disturbing seeing a severed cow head on the ground with a bullet to the head. "If they thought that was some type of act that was going to discourage us or something…it was kind of eerie lying there. Creepy."
Officials are treating this case as a form of ethnic intimidation given the religious affiliation of the owner and nature of the crime.

சமீபத்தில், யாரோ சில விஷமிகள் இவரது வீட்டு வாசலில் பசுவின் துண்டிக்கப்பட்ட தலையை வீசிவிட்டு சென்றுள்ளனர். இதுதொடர்பாக, சங்கர் சாஸ்திரி அளித்த புகாரின் அடிப்படையில் போலீசார் விசாரித்து வருகின்றனர்.
