Nun is yet another face of “secular Keralam.”
She advises parents to be cautious about sending their children to dance classes, arguing that many of these traditional dance forms are centred around Hindu Gods and deities.
She even claims that, while counselling students, the Holy Spirit warned her about a child performing dances depicting Hindu Gods—and therefore, according to her, “God is not with them.”
Statements like these are deeply disrespectful to Hindu beliefs and deities and contribute to religious prejudice.
But when Hindus respond to such remarks, the narrative will suddenly shift, and the same people will start playing the victim card.
If secularism means respecting every faith, why should insulting Hindu beliefs be treated differently?
