Bangladesh election results show Jamaat-e-Islami, known for its anti-India stance, performing strongly in constituencies along Assam–Bengal border. From Mankachar to Dhubri, border-adjacent areas saw major wins — raising concerns about radical influence near Assam.
The released results map of Bangladesh’s 13th National Parliamentary Election shows a sweeping victory for the Bangladesh Nationalist Party, which has secured an absolute majority across the country. The dominance of orange on the electoral map clearly reflects the party’s decisive margin, positioning BNP to form the next government.

Strong BNP performances have been recorded across the northern, central, and eastern regions, highlighting its extensive national footprint. In contrast, Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami managed to secure victories in several constituencies in the south-western belt, while the National Citizen Party emerged victorious in a limited number of scattered seats.
Although a small number of constituencies were won by other candidates, the overall picture confirms BNP’s firm grip on national politics, marking a major shift in Bangladesh’s parliamentary power structure.
