பருவமழை வருவதை முன்கூட்டியே ஊர் மக்களுக்கு சொல்லும் வகையில் கட்டப்பட்ட கோவில்

கான்பூரில் கதம்பூர் ஜெகநாதர் கோவில் 

 Balasubramanian Sr.  கான்பூரில் உள்ள ஜெகநாதர் கோவில் இந்த கோவிலின் சிறப்பம்சம் மழை வருவதை முன்கூட்டியே ஊர் மக்களுக்கு சொல்லும் வகையில் கட்டப்பட்ட கோவில் ஆச்சரியமா இருக்கா வாங்க படிக்கலாம்.

கொளுத்தும் வெயிலில் கோவிலின் வரண்ட கூரையில் இருந்து தொடர்ந்து நீர் சொட்ட ஆரம்பிக்கும் ஒரு கட்டிடத்தை உங்களால் கற்பனை செய்து பார்க்க முடிகிறதா?  ஆனால் மழைவர ஆரம்பித்தவுடனே கூரையிலிருந்து தண்ணீர் சொட்டுவது நின்றுவிடும்.

வரண்ட கூரையிலிருந்து  நீர்கசியும் #ரகசியம் ....  இதுபோன்ற ஒரு நிகழ்வு நாம் எந்த கட்டிடத்திலும் பார்திருக்க முடியாது பைப்லைன் உடைந்து மேற்கூரையில் சுவற்றில் ,தரையில் நீர்கசிவை பார்திருப்போம் ஆனால் அதுபோல் எந்த ஒரு வாய்ப்பும் இல்லாத நிகழ்வு ஜெகநாதர் கோவிலில் நடக்கிறது . மேற்கூரையில் இருந்து சொட்டும் நீர் மழையின் சப்தத்தை ஏற்படுத்துகிறது .

மழைவருவதற்கு ஆறு அல்லது ஏழு நாட்களுக்கு முன்பே கோயிலின் மேற் கூரையில் இருந்து  நீர் சொட்ட ஆரம்பித்து விடும் அப்படி சொட்டும் துளிகள்  அளவின் அடிப்படையில் மழை பெய்வதாகவும் கிராம மக்கள் கூறுகின்றனர்.

 கோவில் மேற்கூரை சொட்ட ஆரம்பித்தததும் 50 கிலோ மிட்டர் சுற்றுவட்டார பகுதியில் இருக்கும். விவசாயிகள்  நிலத்தை உழுது விதைக்க ஆரம்பித்து விடுகிறார்கள்... ஆச்சர்யம் என்னவெனில் மழை ஆரம்பித்தவுடனே மேற்கூரை முற்றிலும் காய்ந்து விடுகிறது.

கோவிலின் தொன்மை குறித்தும், மேற்கூரை கசிவு ரகசியம் குறித்தும், கோவில் அர்ச்சகர்கள் கூறுகையில் தொல்லியல் துறையினர், வரலாற்று ஆய்வாளர்கள்,   வெளிநாட்டு அறிஞர்கள் பலமுறை வந்து ஆய்வு செய்தும், ரகசியம் அறிய முடியவில்லை  இந்த கோவில் 11 ஆம் நூற்றாண்டில் இருந்து எந்த சீரமைப்புபணிகள் செய்யப்படவில்லை .

கோயிலின் உள்ளேயும், முற்றத்திலும் தென்புறத்தில் உள்ள சுவர்களில் லட்சுமணன், விஷ்ணுவின் சிலை, விஷ்ணுவின் 24 அவதாரங்கள், சூரியதேவ் சிலை மற்றும் பத்மநாப சுவாமியின் உருவம் மற்றும் அலங்கரிக்கப்பட்ட பன்னிரண்டு தூண்களில் பிரமிக்க வைக்கும் சிற்பங்கள் உள்ளன. கோவிலின் அருகே 100 அடி ஆழமான  வற்றாத பழங்கால கிணறு உள்ளது கோபுரத்தின் உச்சியில் தட்டுவடிவில் காந்தம் போன்ற உலோகம் பொருத்தப்பட்டுள்ளது.

நூற்றாண்டுகளாக மக்களின் நம்பிக்கை கோயிலுடன் ஆழமாக தொடர்புடையது,  இந்த தெய்வீக நிகழ்வை காண பல மாநிலங்கள், நாடுகளில் இருந்து ஏராளமான மக்கள் தரிசனம் செய்ய வருகிறார்கள். இந்த இடம் இந்திய தொல்லியல் துறையின் (ASI) கட்டுப்பாட்டில் உள்ளது .. வாய்புள்ளவர்கள் சென்று இந்த அதிசய கோவிலை தரிசித்து வாருங்கள்...

Bhubaneswar: Predicting the onset of monsoon is undoubtedly an affair of meteorological department in the country, but Lord Jagannath temple in Uttar Pradesh is believed to be the forecaster of rainfall during monsoon season since years even ages before invention of technologies.

Believe it or not, the water droplets accumulated on the ceiling of the centuries old shrine accurately forecast about the scanty, average or heavy monsoon.

The size of water droplets of the pilgrimage, which is widely known as ‘Rain Temple’, situated at Bhitargaon Behata in Ghatampur area of Kanpur district, indicates the amount of rainfall.

The devotees mostly the farmers are the regular visitors to the temple to offer prayers for good monsoon. They see water droplets in the middle stones of the ceiling to get an idea about the monsoon rain. If the size of the water droplets will be big, the devotees could understand that there will be good rainfall and if it will be small, then there may be drought in store.

This has been the belief system for the locals since centuries. While they get accurate forecast about monsoon from the water droplets of the temple, the rest of the people in India completely depend on the India Meteorological Department (IMD), which runs under Ministry of Earth Sciences.

Besides, the architecture of the temple is believed to have been built during the era of Indian emperor Ashoka. The shrine also resembles the structures of Mughal period.
